Listbook Inc. (CEO Seungyeul Choi), a company specializing in art platforms, announced on the 1st that it has released the English version of its digital art platform, Artes Gallery.
The launch aims to expand the platform’s global reach. Since its official debut in June, Artes Gallery has operated under the mission “Art for Every Soul,” offering a digital exhibition environment where users can easily discover and purchase works by emerging and mid-career Korean artists. With the new English version, the company plans to improve accessibility for international users and further promote the growth of the Korean art ecosystem.
A Listbook Inc. spokesperson stated, “Although K-content continues to grow worldwide, Korean artists in fine art fields such as painting, installation, and new media still have relatively limited opportunities to connect with overseas collectors and audiences. The English release will help ensure that Korean artworks can be more easily discovered by global audiences.”
The new English platform enhances and expands the existing features based on global UX standards, allowing international users to view and purchase artworks by Korean creators without language barriers. Artes Gallery will continue its revenue structure in which 90% of artwork sales proceeds go directly to the artist. Artists can also manage global exhibitions, sales, and sponsorships in one unified platform and communicate with overseas users through online messaging.
Seungyeul Choi, CEO of Listbook Inc., said, “The English version marks the first step in Artes Gallery’s expansion from Korea to the global art ecosystem. We will continue building an open platform that enables Korean artists to gain recognition and value in international markets.”
